GENUINE AUTOPARTS LTD is looking for a warehouse operator for our warehouse in Sofia, Bulgaria

(OES) spare parts for various car brands. Purpose of work: The successful candidate will participate in our warehouse procedures and events located in Sofia, organize space and handle goods in the warehouse area in accordance with the specifications and company policy.

Reporting / supervision: the successful candidate will report to the company’s warehouse manager; this post has no oversight function.

Main responsibilities:
Active participation in the development of the weekly schedule of the warehouse and its observance.
Receptions and deliveries according to the forecast.
Management, organization and maintenance of cleanliness inside and outside the warehouse for the correct movement of vehicles and goods.
Storage of goods.
Physically challenging tasks.
Correct management of warehouse equipment.
Compliance with safety rules – responsible for monitoring and maintaining warehouse labeling.
Handling, moving, loading and unloading goods and materials manually or using various handling equipment.
Use of a forklift with a license.
Verification of documentation, correctness, quantity and quality of goods.
Preparation, weighing, sorting, packing, collecting and unpacking goods with immediate notification of the sales and transport department.
Check the availability of packing materials, notify about the need to order consumables.
Constant communication with sales, transport, warehouses and production managers.
Prevention and treatment of any problems related to the warehouse area and activities.
Enter shipping and attribution data into the existing warehouse software, indicating possible faults in the required software.
Providing internal communication of the warehouse – phone calls and e-mail.

Primary requirements:
fluent English, excellent communication skills.
High School (or Technical School) Diploma
PC knowledge

Dynamic, able to follow instructions, attentive to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
High level of confidentiality, maturity and crisis.
Must have a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues and understand the needs and expectations of our clients while supporting the group’s goals.
Excellent ability to follow, develop and prioritize work.
Ability to show initiative, responsibility, problem solving and improve work processes.
